This two story log cabin was built by Mickey for his
trapping friend, a French-Canadian named Baptiste. This cabin faces the north meadow
and the original log barn. A large kitchen and bath have been
added to the one room cabin. The main floor also has a living area with a futon couch
and a bedroom with a queen bed and a deck facing the north. The enclosed upper loft
has two double futons and looks out over the meadow.

Set amidst birch and pine near North Abbott Creek,
the Millhouse looks out over meadows and the foothills of Glacier Park. This
spacious cabin is named in honor of our father's lumbermill which operated here
from 1946 through 1964.
The main floor has two smaller bedrooms with queen size beds.
There is also a large living room with knotty pine interior that opens up into a
spacious kitchen; bath and laundry off the kitchen. Upstairs consists of a large
master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath.

Jaybird's,
formerly Tom and Jay Foley's home, was remodeled in
2010 to share with extended family and guests, and has been named after our mother,
Jaybird. The project
was completed prior to the holidays which explains the snow and no lawns.
Summer photos will be added in 2011. We were able to keep and restore much of the original
wood paneling and flooring, milled in our parents sawmill in the early
1950's.
Jaybird's has a large kitchen, sitting room, 3 bedrooms
(1k,1q,1d) and two baths and laundry.
Jaybird's is handicapp accessible, complete with a
courtyard that wraps around the west, south and east sides of the
house.

Located across North Abbott Creek and also on the
edge of another meadow, this is one of our most private places. The house was
built by our father Red Foley, for mill workers. Our father was a lumberjack and during
the building of the Hungry Horse Damn one of his camps was called Quintonken.
This place has three bedrooms, two queens and one double, one bath, laundry and a fold out
futon in the living room.
Quintonken has a bright, sunny breakfast room, a covered
porch, swing-set and small private deck on the creek.

This small house was the home to our great grandmother,
who in the summers hauled water from the creek nearby. Over the years the Foley teenagers
would use this place when the main house became crowded with family. It then sheltered
storage items and begged to be used again. In 2006 we remodeled the original cabin complete
with a large wrap around deck in its own private woods. The Brownstone is a perfect place for
couples; and a sanctuary for older mom's and dad's if their younger children/grandchildren are
staying in one of bigger houses.

Spotted Bear
This was the last of the
1950 mill houses to be remodeled on the North end of Abbott
Valley. We completed this in 2011 and like the others, took special care
to retain the vintage wood whereever possible, much of it milled out of old
growth larch over 60 years ago. Spotted Bear has a wonderful warm feel,
mixing old and new with attention in every detail. It has a great
deck off the large kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a fireplace in the living room, 2 baths,
is handicap accessible and has a laundry. The meadow out front leads over to the
creek, trails and other picnic areas, and frequently has a horse or two to visit
with. Raisberries, a cherry tree and swing are near the
house.
